If you’re a fan of RJP on Facebook, you might remember seeing this little miracle baby’s story. For those of you who haven’t “met” Mateo yet, you are in for a real treat.
Mateo Edward Villegas was born on December 28, 2010– 1 pound 8 ounces & 11 weeks premature. The following weeks were a scary time for Mateo’s incredibly loving parents. After multiple surgeries, an extended stay at the hospital & countless prayers, this little miracle was finally strong enough to come home. I visited Kristin, Roberto & Mateo in the hospital last spring. Here are a few pictures from that visit to give you a little perspective of how well he’s doing now…
He finally decided to open his eyes for us
Now, Mateo is 9 months old and so happy to be home with mom & dad. I can’t believe how much he has grown!!
