Sorry it’s been so quiet around here lately! I’m busy preparing for lots of exciting things in 2012… between wedding planning, moving into a new apartment, work, and putting together some new photography opportunities, I’ve been slacking on updating the blog. I promise to do better from now on! ![]()
I can’t believe we’re already into February! It seems like 2011 was a total whirlwind… so many wonderful blessings were bestowed upon me & my family this year. I’d like to take a few minutes to share some of the highlights with you.

Kyle & I celebrated our 2-year anniversary with a delicious, home-grilled dinner… (yes, I am a grill master!)

I was able to spend Grandma Joy’s birthday with her… and some deeeelicious cupcakes.

Miss Allison’s senior prom… didn’t she look HOT HOT HOT?!? ![]()

We celebrated Buster’s 1st birthday! He has a little birthday cookie stuck in his beard… hehehe.

Miss Allison made us all so very proud with her Salutatorian speech. Way to go Smally!! You rock!

Rebecca Joy Photography got a facelift! Thanks again for all your hard work, 2nd Street Creative!!

My big sis got engaged!!!!![]()

I tagged along on a trip to England with Kyle & his dad… and they trusted me to help with fancy cars like this Lotus!

The night Kyle asked me to marry him!!! It was my real-life fairytale <3

The ladies and I took a trip out to D.C. to see our long-lost friend, Kyle. Above, in D.C. with one of my BFFs– no, we didn’t plan to be twinsies. It just sorta happened. Below, our adventure at Bull Run/Manassas (depending on if you’re from the North or South)…

I said YES! to the dress in NYC… and I got to meet Randy! How fun!![]()

Turned 26 in style with some of my favorite ladies! (I still daydream about that dessert… chocolate cake+chocolate ganache+raspberry sorbet. YUM!!)

On Mr. Wonderful’s first trip home from Australia (he moved there at the end of summer), he took me for a spin on his new motorcycle. I was soooo nervous!

Probably should have taken this before the end of the night… but, Josh+Sadie got married!!!!! If you don’t remember them, here. You’re welcome for all the cuteness. In other news, holy smokes, my hair is long in this picture!!

I rounded out the year with a wonderful holiday season spent eating delicious meals (like the one above) with family and friends. As I said at the beginning of this post, 2011 was a very blessed year. I’m looking forward to a year of love, laughter and celebration in 2012…
Stay tuned for the elusive exciting things!
